Connecting to God

We love God.  This, Jesus tells us, is the greatest commandment (Matthew 22:36-40).  For that reason, God—the triune Father, Son, and Spirit—is the center of our worship, our fellowship, and our service at Benson Baptist Church.

Connecting to Each Other

We love our fellowship.  One of Jesus’ final prayers was that we, the Church, might be one, just as Jesus and the Father are one (John 17:21).  That’s an intimate connection, and it’s why we treasure the relationships within our church family, and consider it a sacred blessing to walk alongside one another as we journey through faith together.

Connecting to the World

We love all people.  Because loving God means that you love others, too (1 John 4:20-21).  And that call isn’t just to love those who go to church with you, or who live near you, or who agree with you.  It’s a call to love everyone, just as God loves everyone.  That’s why our love at Benson Baptist extends beyond the church walls and reaches, through service and sacrifice, to the world.
