Worship

Sunday Nights

10:00am

Our worship services are held each Sunday morning at 10:00am in the church Sanctuary. Children can choose from a variety of activities from the worship cart in the Narthex (the foyer directly outside of the sanctuary) to guide them as the follow along with the service.

5:00pm

Our Sunday night schedule begins at 5:00pm with Youth Sunday Nights in the Youth Room. No time to prepare dinner beforehand? No problem! Dinner begins at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. Every other week, dinner is provided by a team. On alternating weeks, dinner is a themed potluck. Sunday nights provide a relaxed, casual atmosphere offers and an opportunity for adults to sit around a table with new and established friends to eat and discuss meaningful questions that apply to everyday life. Children’s and youth activities are also available.

What to Expect

Worship is the heart of what we gather to do as a community of faith.

Week after week, we begin our service with the traditions of the church—singing both modern praise songs and ancient hymns, reading aloud passages of the Bible, preaching—and invite others to join the journey of faith. Each service begins with inspiring music led by our church choir or praise team. As you enter the Sanctuary, you will be given an Order of Worship to follow along with throughout the service. The congregation typically sings multiple songs. You will also hear a message based on the Bible. The heart of our church is to help people grow in their relationships with God and other people. It is our hope that the message will encourage and challenge you to do just this.

There is a nursery for newborns and toddlers where our trained caregivers care for your precious little ones.

PreK through 5th grade children are invited to meet in the Children’s Ministry Center located on the 4th floor of the  Education Building for Sunday school at 9:00. After Sunday school, they are picked up by their caregivers and go to the main service in the sanctuary at 10:00.

PreK through 5th grade children enjoy time in the sanctuary with adults for the entire worship service. Worship materials are available in the Narthex. They are free to select any items that would help them to best engage with the service.

There is a check-in system in the Nursery and outside the CMC to make dropping off your children safe and easy. Caregivers will register upon drop-off. A full information booklet on our procedures can be found here.

Children, youth, and adults of all ages can participate in a myriad of programs on Sunday evenings like Youth Sunday Nights, KidSpark, or Adult Rotations.

Churchwide mission projects lend aid and volunteer support to selected organizations in our community that are engaged in helping those in need.
